About 30 years ago, out of personal interest, research was carefully started for the families ‘Dorland’ and ‘Van Dorland’, which around 1994 started to take serious form. It soon became clear that thorough family tree-research often turns out to be ‘jungle-research’. However, there is now a book containing the genealogical records concerning the ‘Van Dorland’ family. This site is an addition to that. Records and information which are not included in the book (or website for that matter), can be supplied by yourself, as changes, pictures, supplements etc.

We are still industriously looking for photographic material, both old and more recent as well as other relevant documents. E-mail them, send them through the mail (we will return them after duplication), in order to publish those on the website.
